Name The University of New Orleans Foundation as a charitable beneficiary in your will. By leaving a legacy, you can be secure in the knowledge that you are providing for the future of the University.
You may choose to leave an unrestricted bequest, which will provide general university support at the discretion of the Chancellor. You may also leave a gift restricted to a particular UNO college, the Earl K. Long Library, or Athletics. Additionally, you may also bequest a gift for general scholarship support or for the creation of a named endowed scholarship or professorship. Currently, an endowed scholarship requires a minimum gift of $25,000 and a professorship requires a gift of $120,000.
If you have left The University of New Orleans Foundation in your will, please let us know. We are deeply grateful for your support and would like to thank and include you in the Heritage Society, UNO’s special recognition society for those who have remembered the University in their estate plan. If you would like to remain anonymous, we will respect your wishes.
If you have any questions or would like additional information, call Marcelle Highstreet, Associate Vice Chancellor for Development, at 504.280.6068.
