UNO Marketing is responsible for producing all external promotional communications with the intent of maximizing the perception of the UNO brand through facilitation of a greater level of understanding by the public. Ultimately a stronger brand leads to more students. Starting with research based understanding of UNO’s position in the marketplace, Marketing works with external vendors and internal resources to create advertising and materials that position the university in its correct light.

Higher Ed Marketing Award.
Marketing also supports the Admissions Department in developing its enrollment and recruiting materials. Working with research conducted by UNO for UNO as well as national research on enrollment and recruiting materials, Marketing and Admissions work hand in hand to create materials that will demonstrate the benefit of attending UNO to both local and out of region prospective students.
A special project focusing on the 50th Anniversary was developed to promote this important milestone for UNO. A media blitz occurred as well as extensive merchandising.
